ZKJ is working day and night for the betterment of the Environment of Pakistan by implementation the Environment Laws in its true spirit under the  “ Pakistan Environmental Protection Act 1997 “ which was passed by the National Assembly of Pakistan on September 3, 1997 and by the Senate of Pakistan on November 7, 1997. The Act received the assent of the President of Pakistan on December 3, 1997. (1) This Act may be called the Environmental Protection Act 1997.

An Act to provide for the protection, conservation, rehabilitation and improvement of the environment, for the prevention and control of pollution, and promotion of sustainable development.
